a new way
to try and get more people to view, and then hopefully buy more corsages I have been looking at new ways to photograph them, and this is what I have come up with so far,
I’m using my shop dummy and a plain charcoal grey kitted top, and I think it works quite well, what do you think?
These four are all in the Etsy shop, but I have lots more to finish making and list : )
I have cut and prepared 44 corsages! Some more are beaded and have their backs on, but I’m not going to be doing all of them in one hit, next will be a few bags : )
I hope you had a great half term holiday, ours could have been better, but there we go, I don’t learn, or maybe I will in time for Easter!

I think the photographs look very professional and show your corsages really well!
I love your blog too!

A great way of showing the corsages! They are such lovely colours.

The corsages stand out in your photos but why not try taking a photo of them out of context…on a New Forest pony, for example to make people want to look at your photos and therefore your product.
Best wishes

I love your work (I bought one of your bags!) and pop by often to see whats new. I’m here today to pick your brains! As a successful Etsy seller, whats your secret? I’ve sold 7 items in 16 months! Do you have a huge group of family and friends who buy from you? Do the craft fairs you’ve done generate interest in your shop? Do the fab photos make a big difference? (Yours always look professional) Do your fab items simply sell themselves….because they’re fab? I opened my Etsy shop in the hope i could cover the costs of my crafting habit but sales are very slow. I get great comments about my stuff from friends and family and other bloggers but i’m just not selling. Any tips would be greatfully recieved.
Many Thanks.

I love how they look against the charcoal color. And seeing them on a garment gives a good idea of their size.
I like it!
