coming clean : )
ok, yep that’s me, coming clean : ) Not dirty, just a bit grubby…
The past 2 and a half weeks have been ok, but have not gone as planned, and becuase of that I have three days left at my ‘new’ job : ) Various reasons, not enough money for the time I was ‘losing’, an extremely dim work colleague, so dim that I felt like bashing my head against a brick wall until it bleed, and also my boys need me too much, and that is really the most important.
The situation with William at school has not improved, and I want to resolve that before it totally explodes and I get the full force of school in my face.
At least on Sunday he produced something which he has been holding onto for 11 days, I don’t think you need to hear anymore!!!
But lets get to more pleasant stuff : )
I can’t believe it is already 13th November, Happy Birthday Mum!! It seems to be going so quickly, and next week I have my first craft fair (laughs, in ironic fashion), oh yes, am I prepared? Well have you looked at my Etsy shop, hmmm, cupboard and bare come to mind!!!!
I have piles of fabric cut and ready to go, and from Thursday night I will be cracking on with it like a loon!
But this,
arrived today, oh yes, it is totally lovely and will be used in the childrens Christmas bags I’m going to be making over the next 5 days!
So yes, things have changed, I feel a little cleaner, and remember to comment on the last post if you want to join in with the ‘pay it forward’ fun!

Sometimes the extra money a job brings isn’t worth the extra stress. I’ve quit potentially good carers before. People thought I was nuts at the time, but health and enjoyment are more important than money.
That’s great material… and what’s this about Pay it Forward? I read you last post, (I always read but lurk) and I can’t find anything. I’m intrigued.

You sound relieved (as does Mr W!). And more time for sewing is certainly a very good thing in your case.

You do sound very relieved with your decision. Money can do lots – except buy time, and I feel thats what you value most. Rejoice in this as an experience which makes your goal in life clearer, it was worth doing if only for you to come to your decision. Don’t work too hard for the craft fair – take samples & make up orders afterwards!!

good work giving up the bad work. and (i may be going mental but) you’ve not mentioned pay it forward.

I think it’s ace that you’ve given up the job – you’ve clearly thought about it and made the decision that’s best for you. I think surprisingly not as many people do that as you’d think, so all kudos to you.
Beautiful fabric too – just the reward you need!

Gorgeous fabric, where is it from?
