warmth
I have to say a huge thank you to you all for really making a day full of warmth and hugs, it made a huge difference to me : )
I hoping that the saga is now complete on Folksy, the thread has been locked, and I’m still going to post on the forums, because what would it say about me if I didn’t, I have as much right to voice my opinion as anyone else on there!
Also a huge thanks to all the helpful comments on me learning how to crochet, I will have a look at the books and sites recommended and come back to the crochet when I have a bit more time.
It seems like this year has been non-stop, and I have been trying to plan ahead, and then my sister rang me yesterday to ‘save the date’ for over a year ahead! So next year on August 29th my little sister will be getting married, seems so far away, yet so close!
Much closer is Hampshire Open Studios which I’m taking part in again this year, after a few years off from the event.
This year I’m joining Penny Spooner, Caroline Green and Noel Privett at Penny and Caroline studio in Whitchurch. They both create ceramics, and Noel works with silver, so my textiles will make a nice contrast.
Pennys piece is on the left and Carolines jug is on the right.
We are open on Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th and Saturday 22nd August, from 10am to 4pm on each of those days, and I will be doing some wet felting demos in the afternoons : )
It would be great to see some new and familiar faces : )
I’m working on some new pieces, both felt based, and linen based,
So I doubt there will be any shop updates until after the event, but I will keep you up to date with photos and stuff about what I’m making : )
And a big thanks again, for everyone’s lovely comments and advice : )

Hi Raspberry, Glad to hear you are all right and have put the horrid Folksy forum thing behind you. I love your work and follow your blog regularly. Keep smiling and creating. Good luck with the open studios 🙂
