sun, morning only
Yes, it was sunny until about 1pm or so, but it was nice while it lasted,
front garden plants enjoying the sun, doesn’t really show the sun, but I appreciated it at the time!
Today William was off school again, and I’m weary of it all! He is not ill as such, just a certain part of him does not perform as it should, namely his bottom! We are now trying a new thing, and so far it has not helped to produce the goods in one load, rather some smaller and less successful lumps which is why he can’t be at school really. If you are interested in what does and doesn’t happen with his bottom please let me know, I’m really not sure where you draw the line on a blog for discussing such things.
I have managed to work on one item, a commission, which I won’t explain until it is finished, which I hope to finish tonight and photograph tomorrow, here is a snippet,
more linen, and something I have never made before, and probably would be pushed to make again! I really hope I can finish it tonight!

My nephew had bottom trouble and he ended up being diagonised as coelic – is that how you spell it? It seems the irritated bowl/stomach and inability to absorb the nutrients was wrecking havoc with his bottom and poos! Just a thought…

Hooray for sun! And I was busy with the Vanish (again!) today too, so thinking of you.

Yes, wasn’t it the most perfectly gorgeous day today!
If you’re not sure where to draw the line on the actual blog, then perhaps I’m showing even less clarity in the comments box….but….I couldn’t quite tell from your comment whether the problem was severe constipation…but just in case it is, I couldn’t not share with you.
When my daughter was little she had awful bowel problems (we’re not quite sure what was going on but they actually prevented her from being able to bend properly, so she never learnt to crawl and had to have everything passed to her because she could only reach so far…she could walk, but couldn’t get from the standing position to the sitting position and so would literally fall backwards in order to get back to ground level…I say all this to demonstrate that the problem was quite severe!)…but weirdly after what seemed like an awful lot of hospital appointments and suppositories, the thing that really helped her was a tip that I read about on a website….which is kiwis. So desperate was I, that I would try anything and it was the consumption of kiwis that led to her being able to go to the toilet for the first time in years without pain and crying and more regularly than once a week. I’m sure it’s not a cure all for everyone as each child is so individual (and maybe you eat kiwis by the bucketful anyway)…but just a thought.
I hope William is better soon, and that you get your daytime peace back! x
