crimson sunset

Last week we had the great pleasure of attending a wedding, of probably our most treasured friends, our sons adore them, and at the wedding, they wanted them to come back to our house afterwards, because, well, that what you do, isn’t it!

Well, it was their wedding, and I made them a really lovely piece of felt, which I then beaded, I was very pleased with it indeed! But as it was for them it was private, so I did not photograph it, as I knew it would end up on here, and that would not have been right at all.

I’m getting there! So I really enjoyed making it, and I thought, I must make more, even if I do not used it for the show, I must keep going, so last night I created this;

Now this is not the best photograph in the world, yes, I took it on the window sill!

I like the way I have managed to get the colours to work together successfully, very unusual I think recently, the ones I did with blue and purple, on some of them I ended up with a very hard line, not good. But this one has come out well.

The detail is great too, trying out some other threads to work in, what do you think, I like the way they work together. Let me know what you think!
