it’s my party
and I’m not going to cry! Yes it is my birthday today, and I think Hotel Chocolat have done quite well out of it!!! I’ve got some of these, and these, and I still have these from Christmas!!
I got a new pair of scissors, which I really did want, and an old fashioned wooden metre rule, which is something I have wanted for quite a while, and just not seen anywhere.
My sister in law made me this,
to match a necklace I already have, isn’t it lovely, I know I’ve shown you her work before, but all of it has been made by her, the lampwork beads and everything, have a peek at her Etsy shop, more lovely stuff on there, and I think she will be updating it within the next couple of weeks.
I have also done a bit more work on one of the new bags, looking like this,
and this now,
very pleased with how it is going. I hope to finish off the front of the bag tonight. Today going to my parents, and looking forward to a lovely roast beef lunch as cooked by my very patient mother!

I’m glad you are feeling better!
The photo of Katy’s bracelet looks a bit dark compared to the actual thing…should I photograph it for you?

Happy birthday Alice! Roast Beef Sunday lunch sounds good.
Everyone here has foregone Sunday lunch because I think I’ve got Norovirus. Bleugh. Hope it’s not infectious over the Internet.
