burning down the house
well not exactly, but the house did stink afterwards!
These are for a new bag I’m working on, they are silk, but I can’t tell you anymore as, well I can’t, I’d rather wait until what I see in my head is actually on a bag!
Thank you for all your recent comments : ) A lovely one from Kris, who posted for the first time on my last post about my foody posts and cooking. I do love cooking, but I find it hard when I’m cooking stuff I don’t normally do, or if I’m running behind, I also find it hard to follow recipes, and I always seem to change them! But this is the recipe for the stew we had on New Years Day, give it a whirl, the dumplings were lovely, but I guess terribly naughty as well!!!

I am intrigued…

I have had similar pyrotechnic fun…with a heat gun stripping paint off skirting boards while simultaneously singeing the carpet…burning wool is a happy smell (when you wanted a new carpet anyway!)….but I think that the end result of my own ventures into burning the house down may be far less creative than yours…so I can’t wait to find out what you’re up to!
Happy 2008,
Florence x
