mmm…apples
Yesterday we had my family over for lunch, so I did a very nice beef stew with crusty onion dumplings, including butter beans, which I will point out to someone close to me, I thought they were lovely! And, for pudding I did Baked stuffed Apples,
and there were some extras, so I polished off the last two today! Yummy, I love them, but I think I’m the only one in the house who likes them, shame.
Also I have just finished a bag commissioned by my mother in law for her sister in law, not complicated, though it sounds it doesn’t it!
Now as it is a red cord bag with red silk and velvet, it is not easy to photograph, but John managed to get this earlier for me,
It is now finished, dunno if I will get a chance to photograph it as I think it will be leaving here tomorrow, but as I have experienced in the past taking photos of anything red is not my strongest point!

Oh gosh you’ve just reminded me about baked apples and how nice they are! Don’t you sometimes forget about food that way too? I feel as if I’ve been discovering things all over again the last week or so (yesterday it was plain old cheese on toast!).

I have recently discovered your blog and thought I would tell you how much I enjoy it. I’ve been lurking here for a while. I love your bags and I love it when you talk about the food you cook too. I’m always stuck for ideas to feed my family! Your stew sounds wonderful!

I think the red bag is beautiful! It is so carefully crafted with great attention to the details.
