photos taken, and more too
Yep, I’ve managed to take all the photographs required, but it is so dull here, just a little sun would be nice!
I thought I would share with you our surroundings, which might give you some idea of why I have produced these latest bags, and a sneak peek on the next stuff I’m working on.
We live in the countryside, we live in a one road village, with a small town 2 miles to the west of us, and a large village 2 miles to the east of us. We are surrounded by woods and farmland, organic farmland mostly and it is lovely. I know we are very lucky and I really appreciate it. I grew up in the countryside, and the change of the seasons and the ever changing weather was always so clear, and being here is the same. When we look out of the front of our house we see,
further behind this is a large pond, fed by the Test, and fields. We have quite a large garden out the back, including a large slope, which I try not to think how we are ever going to garden it! But we do have some nice trees, including,
And all are changing colour at the moment, really lovely : )
We have also been collecting lots of these,
which I’m thinking of trying to use the shape of the conker to work into some sort of design, very hard though using my brain for such things though!
But I have come up with something else new, what do you think?
This will again end up as a bag, or should that be two, as I have two of these fronts, I’m on a bit of a roll at the moment, so I don’t want to screw it up! Let me know if you like!

That would make an awesome pillow (or two!) for a sofa! Or some beautiful bags.

YES I like your design. Love the Autumn colours, its my favourite time of the year. Lucky you with those wonderful Autumn trees all around where you live. I can see why you’re inspired.

ah, now I know what conkers look like! Mr greenolive often talks about playing conkers and how he was very good at it.
I like the new direction with the felt leaves. I also like the idea of them not being quite symmetrical, kind of like they are “falling” down the side of the bag, cushion, etc.

PS: where abouts in England are you exactly? Mr greenolive will be able to explain it to me. Just last night we talked about moving to England for good. He is about to become a great-uncle, he’s missing his mum and he’s a bit over Australia, having been here for 13 years now.
