thank you : )
I would just like to thank all of your who have mailed me recently and left comments both on here and on Flickr. I have recently lost my way with my art and craft and you have all helped to get me back on track.
Things have been hard recently with Edward, but we now have a timescale to work to, and he should be having support in his present school soon, to get him ready for him for him starting a his new school in September. This is a weight off my mind, however he has made up for that over the past month by being horrid both in school and at home.
Only yesterday did I hear Edward being rude about me, and really quite nasty, and hear William standing up for me, and saying how much he loves me, which really more than made up for all of the horrid things Edward has been saying and doing recently. Having a five year stand up for you, is both really sad and heartwarming, he is the only ‘normal’ one in the house!
Anyway, John took some lovely close-up shots of my work yesterday, and I have already put up the keyring, so here is the close-up of his Valentines card,
It looks great, and he has done a good job with photographing it, so thanks John !
Hopefully over the next week I will be producing more items, and trying to keep Flickr and here up to date!

Ugh. Why is it children can say the nastiest things and behave in the most horrible way and yet we still come back for more? I’m sure it will all work out soon but I’m thinking of you in the meantime.
By the way, the craft is fabulous. I am nearly feeling brave enough to do something myself. You are very inspiring!

Love the key ring – something unique. Our children really have the power to hurt us but luckily for them we love them regardless.

Thinking of you from across the sea.

Good Luck with everything – its tough sometimes – our kids know us too well ! I am having a delightful time with my almost adolescent daughter after a tough couple of years – and it is difficult to be inspired when you are caught up with family stuff. I think your work is very special so don’t worry – it will always be there. I had a creative block for about 8 years (that’s another story !) but I knew I would come back to it one day. The creative gene is always lurking ….

Glad to hear that there is a plan for Edward – not that it makes things easier but at least there is a path to follow along the way. It’s a wonder that childen make it into adulthood given that we are often compelled to want to throttle them and then just when you think you can take no more they turn around and do something so sweet and unexpected that all is forgiven in an instant. It’s the sheer unpredictability of it all that is so exhausting, no wonder your crafting mojo has taken a sabatical. I agree with Mandy though – it’s still there and the keyring proves it – looks like a scrumptious chocolate truffle. Hope spring brings better days and Edward settles down. Take care x

It is good to see that you are making time for yourselves. As one who has been in a similar situation, making time for yourself is so important. I just love your work and hope that some day I will reach your level of artistic excellence. Keep up the good work and give Edward and William a hug from me.

Just wanted to say that I pop by every day hoping you’ll have made a new post.
See, there are people out here who love what you do and are thinking about you . . . .
