a dry field..

this is the dry version..

I like it, but it lost some the detail I was trying to get into the bottom half of it.
The silk tussah and hemp strands all sort of blended into one, I had hoped that they would stay more seperate from one another, but nevermind, each piece is a law unto itself!

I have made another six pieces this afternoon, 3 non matching pairs. I have done these to sell as smaller non-framed pieces, I will put them up soon when I have photographed them. I felted these alot harder, as I wanted them to shrink as much as possible! I’m pleased with them so far 🙂
