I know, this is not textile related, but….
…it has been half term this week, on Tuesday we went to Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, and I wrote all about that as Autumn Sun.
Well on Thursday we went to Legoland!!!!! Yes, I can hear all the gasps of disbelief, Legoland in half term, are you mad, etc etc. But I didn’t think it would be that bad, and the boys had waited all year to go, and it is so they do not have a birthday party each this year!!!!
Yes, the next gasp is, the cost, what about the cost, well we found this place online and saved £50 by buying our tickets from there, good move don’t you think!
So our day was ok, I won’t bore you anymore with the details, the shouting, the refusal to get on rides, etc etc, but instead the great photos of the new London in the miniland section, just stunning! Just wait until your child says, ‘can we make the Gerkin, Mummy?’ !!!!!
The boys are already planning their next visit in March!

Glad to hear that you had a good time at Legoland – still think you were very brave! The pics are great – I’ve not been to Legoland yet but I love mini villages. Have you ever been to Bekonscott? I always go when we stay with my Mum & Dad in Reading. It’s not on the same scale but it’s a great model village and the little railway lines are amazing.

Great images. I too think you were very brave. Hope you had a glass of vino when you got home!
