Hmmm my giveaway has been a bit of a flop : (
But if you are in Europe, leave me a message, mention the corsage you like, and we’ll see if you are a winner, come on you Europeans!
Dinner last night was lovely, including a wonderful Salmon and Prawn Fishcake with a poached egg, and chive and chardonnay sauce, truly wonderful!!
I’ve been trying to find an image for today’s post, and the light being so bad after 4pm I’m failing quite terribly : (
The reason I’m showing this, is because this is for sale, and until my more recent fairs, I had totally forgotten! It is mounted on a piece of nice A4 off white card, and looks great, so why isn’t it on Etsy? Dunno, if you are interested let me know, it is £15 and postage is free until the end of this week : )
Enough now, must go and hoover!

Hi Alice ! 🙂
You don’t know me, but I’ve been following your blog & shop for quite some time now. My name is Sonia, I live in France & am a fellow Etsian. (or is it Etsier ? nevermind) Your felt corsage are to die for. (I loved the pink ones but came too late) I don’t know if I’m getting the rules of your giveaway (which is, btw, very generous of you !), but the felt corsage from your shop that I love best is sure the Dusky Plum one. How gorgeous !!!
I promise to stop by AND leave a comment on a regular basis now. Probably one of my resolutions for 2009 … stop being silent on blogs I’ve been reading for a long time ! (not my only resolution though !! LOL)
Happy holidays to you & yours, Alice ! You make an awesome job on your creations ! (love the laundry themed linen bag too !! 😀 )

O dear, how can such a lovely and generous giveaway be a flop? Don’t mind these non-appreciative barbarians out there, just send the gold cup to me. Please? I sure would wear your corsage proudly. Especially the dusky plum one (M2), it would inject new brilliance to my all time favourite sweater …
But above all: happy anniversary!

I adore your sea green one and, if I don’t win on a give away, I think I might just treat myself to it after Yule:) I will admit to being a very bad person when it comes to comments but I’ve been reading your blog for months now and I do love how you fill it with such pretty things. Happy Yuletide to you and yours.

I know how you feel. Last week I offered some felt ornaments for trade on my blog, and I didn’t get a single taker. :/

awww, no it’s not, we’re all just sitting back and letting someone else enter the draw. It’s so kind of you, I didn’t want you to have to pay the postage. and I restrained myself from hassling you that you said from “Australia” and left me, from New Zealand, out. haha! beautiful corsages, and I’m still craving a sea-ish felt picture myself. merry christmas, from summer down under.

Happy anniversary! what a great idea from your husband to get you those beads. So beautiful. I followed the link to your sister in law’s website. gorgeous work! unbelievable that can be done with hot glass.
I didn’t want to sign up for the give away because, although I always read your blog (you are in my bloglines) I don’t always comment and …I don’t know… it didn’t feel right. But hey, if you must know, I love all of your brooches, the more funkier ones like the Funky felt flower in orange or the more chic like the deep red merino with silk. So there…
🙂

Blue, purple, they are all so lovely! Any of them will brighten up my very dull grey day here in Finland.

Dusky plum would be the corsage I’d like – well, I think my sister would like really. She saw one I bought from you (meant to be a present but couldn’t give away!) and loved it so if I’m lucky then she will be too.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

I love the dusky plum and grey ones. . . it would be something totally self indulgent for me as Ive failed miserably at the felt making myself – my cat loves the ‘remnants’ so I am constantly reminded of my failings as a talented textiles artiste and this would be a lovely indulgent thing just for me.

Deep purple and sillk. I think that is beautiful.
Greetings from cold Finland!

Just realised that I probably count as being in the UK not Europe – clearly just over excited to be part of your give a way.
Really really sorry! I will watch out for your UK one instead :* )

Dusky plum, yes please. Or maybe sea green… they are soooo beautiful, I can’t decide.
Thank you for having a giveaway. It’s fun!
I wish you a peaceful end of the year and a fresh new start in 2009!

I really like deep red merino.
Thank you for having a giveaway. It’s always fun to enter a comment and than wait for a mail. I hope it will come this time.
Love your work, but you already know that :o)
11th December 2008 @ 7:55 pm
Hey!
How was it a flop?! I noticed a few people (including me, all the way from New Zealand!) leaving comments on your December 5th post – was that what we were supposed to do?
Hopefully you’ll have success with you next giveaway – I’m sure lots and lots of people want your lovely work!
xx
