warm
I like the weather how it is today, it feels very calm, almost like it could stay like this forever, or maybe that is because the stillness it how I hope it could stay!
The boys have their last day on Wednesday, and to be honest I cannot say I’m looking forward to the holidays, they fill me full of fear of the unknown, and not a good unknown!
This weekend it was our local village fair, no ordinary fair, it only happens every four years! So that took up some time, as did cutting the grass : )
That is our back garden, the slope is a hill! And at the top is another quite large piece to mow, yesterday to took two and a half hours to cut! I guess the grass was quite long, but even so that is quite a long time, so between that and all the other stuff going on, not much sewing got done!!
So today has been doing some more stuff off the list and getting stuff cleared for the noise that will fill out house from Thursday!! So something to show you tomorrow I hope : )
ps I’m not complaining about the size of our garden, but I just wish the boys would use it more : (

What a lovely yard! Hopefully you can enjoy some peaceful time now and again.

What an amazing garden! It somehow looks so English to me – similar to what I grew up with. We have a yard and sometimes I have to tell my boys to get out and play outside ‘cos I need a break 🙂

I love the size of your garden. How about a secret den-like spot to lure the boys out there… It’s all I can do to get mine in for meals. The downside is a few unplanned holes appearing from time to time. Complete with canal systems. And filthy clothing.

Wow, that calls for some extreme mowing.
We too have a large backyard and I just kick the boys and tell them not to come back inside unless there’s blood or broken bones.

My boys would love to have all that marvelous space. What a magical looking backyard. Lucky you (although not the mowing part.)
