after the holiday
I have returned from the wilds of Wales! Well actually St. Davids was very nice, shame our cottage was damp (when I say damp there were droplets of water on the slate floor!), and has now given us all colds : (
The weather was pretty good, but I think that Pembroke Castle is more of a goer in the dry, rather than the wet, which is how we did it!
Lots of time on the beach, and lots of ice-cream!
We bought lots of ice-cream from The Bench, they make all their on ice-cream on site and it is divine, I think the cherry was my favourite : )
That is actually the only photo I have to show for the whole holiday, you can see more on my lovely husbands Flickr photostream.
I have not done any sewing now for almost two weeks, which to be honest feels like a very long time indeed, I have washed and ironed some new linen, and so there should be some new stuff in the shop within a week or so.
I have a couple of custom bags to make, including a knitting bag, which could be fun! And also I’m going to be trying my hand with using fasteners, both magnetic ones and even a zip!!!
Today the weather has been so awful all the plants have been knocked over, and my lovely peony is just coming out,
So I rescued the one in full bloom and another one about to come out, I hope the rain now holds off for a few days so the rest can stay out side as they should do : )
So sewing for me, as I have stuff to show, I will do so, have fun!

Very interested to see how you get on with the bag fasteners – that’s on my list of things to try too!
