Shop update
Sorry about the dull title, that was the third attempt, and probably the best!
that’s one of them, and here are the other four,
All on natural coloured linen, and three are on some lovely new stuff I’ve got which has a more pronounced weave and it is lovely.
Not much else to report, other than a screaming six year old who has almost driven me to tears today, I think we may have to go the the doctors, because I really want to believe there is more to this than just him being a foul little boy, or am I kidding myself?
Anyway all the bags are in the shop, I hope you like them : )

My, oh my, oh my! How do I justify the purchase of another Raspberry Fairy bag? These are just gorgeous! The nest is precious, the felt flowers – breathtaking! (Have I used enough !!!!’s?)
You are so very talented.

Those bags are lovely. You have a great vision for what will look striking, well done.
On going to the doctor’s – I say do. Even if it turns out there is nothing really wrong, at least you get an opportunity to talk to somebody about it and get some sympathy back. Always a great tonic I find.
Hope it all improves soon.

All your new bags are just gorgeous – although my particular favourite was the tractor one which I see has already sold, and I’m not surprised it was excellent.

you are amazing!!! you are amazingly creative! i can’t wait for my birdie bag to get here. i have been in birdie mode here lately, making cloth birds, drawing branches, etc. my friend came over today sporting her tote. she said she loves it so much! it made me glad because she gave me the sweetest gift anyone could have given me for my birthday and i wanted to give her something equally special! so, i hope knowing this will make your day a little better. i hope you can find an answer to your son’s screaming. hang in there π i hope you have better days ahead! xx

If you feel there is something more with your 6 year old, there probably is. My daughter is sensitve to flourescent lighting and would “misbehave” and get frequent headaches. (Go to my blog and read scotopic sensitivity in the catagory column.) Any way, found out what was the matter and now all is well. Trust yourself, not all doctors get it right.

I have only just found your site and your shop update has taken my breath away. Your designs are so lovely….those wheels on the tractor are perfect!

My experience with a screaming son was that a lot of it was to do with some language and communication hurdles..and these were overcome in time. But at the time we were going through it it felt like hell, and there is nothing like a screaming kid to test us to the limits of endurance. If your son is showing some signs of not articulating stuff verbally or having fuzzy speech (maybe with a lot of words that are not easily understood) then this could be a reason why he is using the screaming to say stuff.
I know that the so called ‘professionals’, speech therapists, doctors, educational psychologists etc will all have their own take and advice to give to you, and I only speak as a mother and as someone who has been close to families who have experienced screaming sons. Boys are generally ‘slow’ at coming to verbally and this can have a big effect on their behaviour as they attempt to navigate this verbal world.
Best of luck to ye, and I hope that things improve π
