table
could I have come up with a duller title? Hmm probably not, but the table in question is not dull, well not to me, woohoo, I have a handmade extension table for my sewing machine!
isn’t it fab! My father in law made for me as I can’t afford a perspex one that they make in the US, and Pfaff don’t seem to make anything for my machine anymore, because mine is a ‘basic’ model and isn’t all singing and all dancing and is over 10 years old, well it might as well not exist!
I’m not complaining, just a little frustrated by it. Maybe when I’m rich I will get a newer model, but this one has done me proud, and it just plain and simple, like me :Â )
Nothing else to show really, hectic weekend, and now Easter coming up, I won’t have any new bags for sale until after the Easter weekend, but we will see how it goes. Instead a shot of a dead orchid flower!
I love the depth of colour, and that they almost seem unreal or other worldly, really fab, I hope I can get them all to flower again, or they will have to go home to flower again with my mum!

handy table!, i do think though, that with sewing machines, the old ones are the best. mine is still the one i bought as a student, so it, erm, about, erm (whispers) 18 years old!. still works, is noisier than it should be, but not bad. newer machines are too computerised for my liking, too much to go wrong.

He’s a clever duckie isn’t he? My sewing machine is approximately the same age as me, so needless to say, there are no accessories available at all. But it works, so who cares! As I keep telling my hubby, the oldies are the goodies.

What a nifty little table! How nice that you have a handy Father-in-law that can make you things like that.

I love your new table. I also love your machine – it’s like mine (only a different make) – the computerised ones scare me a little, at least with this sort you have a vague hope of fixing it yourself if anything goes wrong.

Old machines are usually more relianle and who needs half the things that the computerised ones do anyway? xx

Thank -you, thank-you, thank-you. My lovely little parcel of buttons arrived today and completey distracted me from what I should have been doing! I will try to use them wisely!

I have an older Pfaff also and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Sure do love your table, what a nice father-in-law you have.
