lollipops
working on new ideas, and I’ve produced this so far,
Pleased so far, here is another bit,
I’m working on 4 new chocolate brown bags, this one features six of the carved vintage mother of pearl buttons, they are lovely, so pleased I got them. I have bought some more on eBay, when the weather is a bit warmer on Sunday mornings we will probably go to some car boot sales as they have been a good source for them in the past.
William loves boot sales, as he not only love Lego, but Polly Pocket too!
I mean, who wouldn’t, this one measures 6cm (2.5″) across when it is shut, and when it is open, full of little things to fiddle with : )
There was version for boys, but not as nice as this : ) Also, new Polly Pocket isn’t like this : ( More like Barbie type stuff, and there is only so much pink and girly stuff that can get in this house!

Oh my! I can’t believe it, but I had that very same Polly Pocket when I was young. I just can’t understand why they re-did her image. How can she be Polly POCKET if she wouldn’t fit into a purse?
The “male” version of Polly Pocket was Mighty Max, by the way. Not a fan of the toys, but I had watched the cartoon show from time to time.

I just found your website from a mutual friend (well, we both love the same website anyway), Molly Chicken. I LOVE the lollipop pattern–cute cute. It would actually make a really cute dress for a little girl.

Beware the Polly Pocket little bits – my daughter (then aged 4/5) once got the golden goose stuck up her nose (she said she was just smelling it at the time)! I had to grab her and run up two flights of stairs – whilst imploring her not to sniff- to my sewing room to get the long-nosed tweezers that came with my overlocker in order to get it out! Luckily it worked coz we didn’t fancy going to A & E to explain that “she’s got a goose stuck up her nose” and is now a well-mined source of family hilarity!
