violet swirl, cut, cut, stitch, stitch…

I never liked this piece of felt, it simply did not work, if I wasn’t so tight I would have probably thrown it away!

However, I did not throw it away, instead I cut and trimmed it into 4 chunks, and stuffed it away with some other ‘not sure’ stuff.
As you have seen by some of my other posts I have finally had my sewing machine out over the past couple of weeks, well yesterday I thought I would give it a whirl with some felt and finally try free machine embroidery!

Woohoo, and here it is…

and here in a straight line, which apparentely looks better!

So now, I do want to try more, please with these, one thing I’ve noticed it uses an awful lot of thread, I may have to stop using my silk thread, shame, but I can’t throw money around!
