I could cry…
looks great doesn’t it? Well yes it does, and look at that lovely stitched pocket, oh yes, and oh s**t, the lining is too narrow : (
This morning, trying to be more organised, I finished eight pockets with the linen trim, and name tag, then stitched them onto the lining, and stitched it together, so eight linings ready for bags, great!
I make up the five outsides of bags I have ready, then go to pin the linings on to stitch them together, and oh, and rude words, and banging of stuff, and swearing at husband for asking me whats wrong, oh yes, all either linings are exactly an inch too narrow : ( I want to cry….
So now I’m washing new lining fabric, to dry, then cut, correct width, then make new linings, I’m going to have to unpick all pockets and see if they are ok, if not, I will be remaking eight pockets as well, so you see what happens if you try to be organised, you cock it up!

oh.
Swear away. On that occasion swearing is not only allowed, it’s compulsory!!

As sorry as I am that happened to you, I also feel a tiny rush of “YES! I’m not the only one!”
Your new stamp is lovely.

I can so relate to you wanting to swear at someone for asking what was wrong in that situation. Although, equally I’d want to swear at them if they hadn’t asked what was wrong…being a particularly reasonable sort of girl!
Your new logo stamps are gorgeous though! x

A***. A set of slightly smaller bags in your future methinks? Because if it were me, I’d be sure to make mistakes unpicking too.
It’s at moments like these we truly need something to kick. Hard.

I guess you can kick me…

oh bum. go and lob something up the garden – always makes me feel better.

Throwing or kicking something would definitely be in order – and, of course, copious amounts of swearing. I remember my father once being very organised when cutting out a heavily-patterned wallpaper whilst decorating the living room. None of the pattern would match up when we went to hang the pieces – I swear the air turned blue with his swearing. Hope you’re able to use the linings for slightly smaller bags in the future.

I could cry for you. But instead that nice husband of yours has offered himself up as a kick pad, go on – a swift one in the shins will make you feel better when he’s hopping about and trying not to swear too much!!!
I’m with the others – smaller bags. Pretend you meant to do it!

What about just trimming 1/2 inch off the sides of the bags? I don’t think anyone would really miss that extra inch… would they? It looks great by the way and I love your new designs!
