inspiration..
..it is funny what can inspire you, for me it has been the front cover of this months edition of Country Living, as soon as I saw it I could see a bag using the colours and shapes : )
Working on this, and two more linen bags, more couture than everyday, though I have got fabric out for 3 of those as well.
It is all very busy at the moment, with half term now, and next week, I start a proper job for the first time in 10 years!!!! I’m a bit nervous, mainly about giving up time at home, but we shall see how it goes : )
It isn’t full time, 23 hours per week, but it is for a period of time every week day, so should fit in well with the children, I hope.
Not the best of timings as we are also coming into the busiest time of the year for craft fairs etc, but I hope to cope with it all.
For those of you waiting on corsages, I have not forgotten you! I have felt making on my list and I hope to be doing some this weekend.
More later : )

I hand delivered the corsage to my Grandma today. She is a little unwell, and I loved to give it to her all the more for the cheer it brought her.
Thank you!
I’m certainly all the more smitten with your work for having seen it in the flesh.)
Having to really hold myself back on the cordrouy. Yum.

Country Living, we haven’t got that issue out here yet. I find it a very inspiring and aspiration mag, makes me want to move to the UK right now, instead of when Mr greenolive and I are old and grey! Loving the new direction and good luck with the job. I know you are creative, but what do you “do”? The job I mean.
