birthday bags

about 3 weeks ago I mentioned making bags for William to give as a present at a party he is going to, well I have made them : )

Quite shockingly they look exactly as I imagined them! I used some of the wonderful Japanese fabric I bought recently, yay! The rounds are stitched onto linen, and the are slightly gussetted.

I really like how the combination of fabric works, jolly against the plain.

William is going to be really happy to give these as presents, and I feel that it is so much nicer to give something that isn’t plastic and won’t get broken in 5 minutes, or forgotten about!

Yes the party is for twins! Luckily they both like different colours!!!
