something nice : )
I think all my posts recently have been nice? But this one has made me very happy.
Last year I made a card for a friend which should have been to celebrate but instead it was a time filled with sadness, and a feeling of loss. Now a year later she commissioned to make this,
to be a congratulations card to give on daughter on the birth of her second son, so Pat is a glamouous granny again!
I always enjoy making cards for people, but this one was special, I took a great deal of pleasure and pride in making it. It signifies the start of new life and hope, something I think we can all appreciate and enjoy : )
oh, and if you thought I had forgotten, The Apprentice, sadly predictable last night, but I thought he should have taken Simon in, and then he may have been fired!

This is so beautiful – I love all the layers and textures. Those little felt circles have to be my favorite.

I missed my Apprentice fix as hubby was glued to the football. Have to wait for the repeat…
And beautiful card, and special too by the sounds of it.

I love your cards. They are so simple — but at the same time the composition and execution are gorgeous.
