stewing
I’m glad I didn’t start this earlier, or am I?
Today has not been a great work day, both ‘proper’ work, and raspberry work.
Was at work until 3pm, not great atmosphere, have staff party on Friday, looking forward to it like a hole in the head, everyone is miserable, and it’s raining, and where we work it leaks, the carpark is muddy, so yes, just whining, I guess that is what people do, but I know I shouldn’t, I have a job, lots of people don’t, so lets shut up now!
Right onto sewing, creating, all that jazz! I’ve been on a roll recently, really pleased with what I’m producing and creating, I feel that it is some of my best work, however this is tempered by the fact that nothing is really selling, and I’m beginning to wonder if the work I’m creating is all for nothing?
So today this has added to my other work stew, and I have sat and felt sorry for myself.
I’m now trying to snap out of it, having cup of tea, on the sofa, writing this and watching John play Mass Effect 2, which I keep jumping at, I’m not really that timid! So it has taken 7 hours, but I feel better, but still worried about selling me stuff.
I’ll show you another design I have been working on,
all feedback is gratefully received : ) Thanks for listening!

I think the stuff you’re creating at the moment is great! It’s got a great clean look, while looking really elegant and unique. I think at the moment it’s the calm before the Christmas storm, so I’m sure they’ll all be snapped up in the next couple of months!
Don’t get dejected – if you love what you’re making, I can guarantee someone else will love it too 🙂

I’m sure it’s just the calm before the pre-christmas storm too. Though I do think all retailers will do better the keener they can keep their pricing this year.
I have to say, I am loving the things you have shown us.

I’m with the others, everyone is in the waiting for Christmas patch and isn’t spending just now. Keep the faith because your pieces are lovely. I’m sure they will fly off the shelves very soon.

I think your work is beautiful and I’m looking forward to see more. You are so creative and you should not worry. Good days are ahead! 🙂

I love the stuff you are producing, its gorgeous. I haven’t sold anything for ages, I think maybe things are just quiet and hopefully things will pick yo soon. Your work is gorgeous so I am sure will find lots of new homes soon.
I also know what you mean about horrible work atmosphere’s, everyone is so miserable at our at the moment, its really depressing.

Your beautifully designed and executed lovelies are most ‘wantable’ and I’m sure as the season progresses things will come out of the doldrums. Hope that cup of tea did the trick!
