a big bump
Today was awful 🙁 I refer to my third craft fair, and you didn’t think it could get much worse did you!
Well it did, now I’m not bashing religion here, but it was in a church, 60% of the sellers were from the church, and 80% of the customers were from the church, do you see where I’m going?! Well guess what I did not sell a thing, I packed up at 2.30 and left, it finished at 4pm.
My mother-in-law had a bad feeling about it when we arrived, and actually said to me, ‘do you want to go home, and not bother today?’ and like a fool I said, ‘no, I’ll stay’, how I regret that desicion.
I had an appalling table, so bad, I didn’t even take a photo, I had to sit in front and slightly to the side of my table, so people couldn’t even see all my stuff. One bloke almost parked his backside on my table! He quickly moved, when I gave him a look.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining, I just wish I had used those hours better, ie going to a birthday party with my youngest rather than having to send him off with Nana.
I’m sure the next three events will be far more successful, after all, they cannot be any worse!
ps I paid £10 for my table!

As someone who attends a lot of craft fairs here in Southern California, I wish we had crafters such as yourself. Don’t get discouraged.

Oh. That’s one of my worst nightmares. You’re braver than me though, because that nightmare is stopping me from booking the tables in the first place! I work to word of mouth commission which helps avoid the man and his backside! Hope you’re next one is more amusing and profitable for you!
