huit

see I know my French up to eight, but might not get much further than that!

So here we are Day Eight of the holidays, the quote so far,

“I am not going in the Co-op with him looking like that!” said by Edward to me, while William stood by wearing a plastic police helmet and mirror sunglasses, he did have a point, but I didn’t have the energy!!

Anyway, on the children side it ranges from lovely to despair, but the fort/castle is getting there,

We did the platform and the seats around the inside at the bottom of the posts, it was hot, and on Friday, we should almost complete it, when we clad the outside in timber, and it will suddenly look a lot more castle like. The blue, is the blue it will be all over, it looks great against the green of the wood behind.

Onto my fabric mountain….

I have quite a lot of fabric, but I could have more! I personally think it is an addiction, I love it, but…….

I buy fabric that I love the way it looks, and then when I have it, I don’t know what to use it in, or on, or I don’t have enough!

I think if you sew you have this problem, however I’m making some new bags which are going to have patterned linings, because I HAVE to use up some of this fabric!

I love them all, but with three of them until now I have either been unable to part company with them, or fit them into something (well that’s my excuse!)

So I am making four new across the body denim bags, like those two daisy ones, and I will keep you updated on the progress of those.

Hope to have some wip piccies tomorrow as there is no castle building or visiting my grandmother, which to be honest is too dull and boring to bore you with, and anyway my Dad might read it!!
