{"id":1444,"date":"2008-10-06T10:19:29","date_gmt":"2008-10-06T09:19:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/?p=1444"},"modified":"2015-11-01T19:18:53","modified_gmt":"2015-11-01T19:18:53","slug":"a-week-of-not-enough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/?p=1444","title":{"rendered":"a week of not enough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It doesn&#8217;t surprise me that it has been a week since I last did a new entry on here, it seems to have been non-stop here, but in the process of that, not enough has been achieved.<\/p>\n<p>I have made another quilt,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/wp-content\/images\/2008\/10\/linen_quilt.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"linen_quilt\" width=\"450\" height=\"575\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1447\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I made this to give a better indication of the puckering effect that you get when washing the finished quilt, photographing it has not been as easy as making it! This one measures about 13&#8243; by 10.5&#8243;. I love the way they look and feel, and it is an encouragement to me to make a bigger one, but I have so much other stuff to do first!<\/p>\n<p>I have also ordered some new fabric, including this one,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/wp-content\/images\/2008\/10\/starling.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"starling\" width=\"450\" height=\"318\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1446\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I love it! I have it in three colourways, and so this get added to the stash to be looked at, and dared to be cut into! (Edit &#8211; I forgot to say where it came from, duh! It came from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop.php?user_id=5210553\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>So they were the sewing related items, as well as the first week of the quilting on the course, which I think went well, but I do see what I could do better to help people, and to be able to understand what I think is easy, but maybe be harder for other people to visualise. So it has been a learning experience for all of us.<\/p>\n<p>I also had this made for me, <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/wp-content\/images\/2008\/10\/thread_holder_blog.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"thread_holder_blog\" width=\"450\" height=\"720\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1445\" \/><\/p>\n<p>by my father in law, as you can see I already almost filled it, I only got it yesterday!
