I&#8217;m working on a piece I&#8217;ve called Flowing Fields, it is not finished yet, definately work in progress.<\/p>\n<p>I thought I would show where I started from, and the discoveries I&#8217;m making. I made a piece of felt I&#8217;m actually really pleased with, I put some quiting wool on it, which I intended to work on with the machine embroidery.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"green_lines.jpg\" id=\"image120\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/wp-content\/images\/2006\/08\/green_lines.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It looks good, but I tried to work on the white lines, and it really didn&#8217;t work at all. So instead I added some unfelted wool fibre, and some some silk noil, which I stitched on, which worked really nicely.<\/p>\n<p>I then started, with a bit more confidence brewing, to use the machine to embroider, which worked nicely.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"flowing_field.jpg\" id=\"image121\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raspberry.co.uk\/wp-content\/images\/2006\/08\/flowing_field.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I now need to bead this up, I think I have done enough stitching, and I don&#8217;t want to overdo it!<\/p>\n<p>When I have finished it I will let you see!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I already have this on Flickr, but I thought I would add a bit on here too.
