sneaky : )

I don’t want to promote the place I work at on here, this is my own blog, which I love and have not dedicated enough time to recently, however, I would like to draw your attention to something : )

On Domesticali and Little Cotton Rabbits there is an offer running on a meat box that I designed for a family of four, if you would like to try it out, while it is on special offer, go take a peek here and here!

Hope that hasn’t offended anyone!

but when I say that I want to finish it with ‘for Hitler‘ every time, and no I’m not being politically incorrect unless you call loving this film politically incorrect : )

This past week has been beautiful, and even though we do need some rain, could it just rain at night please!?

Need to motivate myself a bit more at the moment, no sewing going on here, but I want to, does that count?

come outside

sorry no Auntie Mabel though!

for the first time ever all our blossom is out together, I guess this has happened because of the cold winter, so we have the plum, almond and cherry out together, the one above is the cherry, and below is the plum,

at least with the plum it actually produces fruit, lovely Victoria ones, but the cherry and almond are just ornamental.

The cats are also enjoying the lovely sunny weather, and rolling around in the grass. I managed to catch Eddie in between the snapping of blossom : )

I have also started something in the past week, which has made me feel better, I get up at 6am to go for a 3 mile walk! It is so lovely, and quiet, and it makes me feel so much better, so I can recommend it! I get back home, have a shower and make brekkie, and be more motivated than if I stayed in bed until 8am!

Lets hope the sunny days carry on for a bit longer!

drawers

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

I know, you get excited, you think you are going to see a photo of me in my knickers, and no, not at all, just some old drawers…

We went down to Cornwall for a weeks holiday before Easter and that image is of the lovely spice drawers in the Tropical Biome at the Eden Project. It was a great week, and even though the weather was very odd, hail, snow, bright sunshine, all within about 30 minutes! We had a lovely time, visited Fowey, St. Ives, Truro, and lots more.

It is very busy here, with work, Handm@de, and the continuing struggle to get Edward into the right school. Also we are now having the displeasure of finding that many high street clothes shops seem to consider that boys stop being boys when they reach the age of about 14, should say that is ’size age’ as Edward is only 11. Also why do Next not stock the clothes in the shop that they sell online, and by that I mean, online they sell up to 16 years, in the shops, that stop at 12 years, now where is the logic in that!??!

Gah, oh well, I will try to blog soon : )
